Care Instructions for Stafu Pro Performance Products

The stain-resistant, water-repellent, and quick-drying technical finishes used in STAFU PRO products require special care for long-lasting performance. Improper washing methods can reduce the fabric's wicking effect and breathability. Proper care preserves the product's technical performance like new.

🧺 Washing Instructions

Wash at a maximum of 30°C on a synthetic or delicate cycle.

Turn the product upside down and place it in the machine.

Do not use fabric softener, bleach, perfumed detergent or bleach.

Choose technical garment cleaners (e.g. Nikwax BaseWash®, Granger's Performance Wash®) instead of standard household detergents.

These products maintain the breathability of the fabric, prevent odor formation and support quick drying.

Avoid excessive spinning or high-speed programs.

🌬 Drying & Ironing

Hang dry naturally or tumble dry on low heat.

If necessary, reactivate the stain/water repellent coating by briefly ironing at low heat.

Do not use steam.

🧴 Technical Suggestion

The stain-resistant and water-repellent finish on STAFU PRO technical fabrics naturally weakens over time.
After approximately 10–15 washes, periodic maintenance with DWR renewal maintenance products is recommended to maintain the fabric's performance.
This process reactivates the protective layer on the surface and renews its water and dirt repellency.

⚠ Things to Avoid

Classic detergents: Leave residue and impair stain-proof properties.

Softeners: Destroy the DWR coating.

High heat: It weakens the synthetic fiber structure.
